ALWAYS CONSIDER THE PRESENTATION ON THE SERVING PLATE

 

Some dishes are perfect as is..

....a wooded board for Bar-B-Q style or buffet...a crystal dish or silver tray for a formal table setting.

Others may lend themselves to enhancement.

 

 

Surround with fresh green herbs or edible flowers.

Use garnishes that compliment what you're serving AND that have visual appeal and texture:

 try Purple Basil, Sliced Olives, Special Lettuces and other Colourful Greens

 
 
Packaging individual candies, chocolate discs and cookies in coloured cellophane 
or fancy boxes can be as creative as your imagination allows. 
Presenting butter, jello, pate, desserts on plates dusted with icing sugar, drizzled with syrups
or brightened with greenery can also be left up to your creativity. 
Fruit can be added to a large ice ring as a colourful touch to a festive punch bowl.
 

 

Sprinkle the top with Icing Sugar, Poppy Seeds and Chopped Nuts

 Drizzle over sauces such as Chocolate Syrup, Honey or Savory Sauces depending on the flavour of the mold.

   

Try making LAYERED combinations in the mold itself!

 Fill the top half of the mold with cream cheese and the bottom half with pate.

 For fun and festive looks try different food colouring mixed with cream cheese!
